Seth was the god of chaos, and, seemingly, the incarnate of evil. He is also associated with thunder, the desert, and infertility. Tales differ in saying that he was born evil or that he became evil later on in life. Some stories say that he was the one who protected the Sun Boat from the monster Apep when it traveled across the sky. This is when he is depicted as good.
But, as nearly all stories say, he turned dark when coveting his brother Osiris' throne. He was the one who killed Osiris and became a very cruel ruler of Egypt, not being loved whatsoever. After Isis brings Osiris back to life, it is unclear what most stories said about Seth's history. Some said that Horus, in revenge for his father's death, exiled Seth to the desert forever. In others, he moved to the Underworld to protect Ra's barge.
Appearence: Usually seen with the head of an unknown animal, other times shown with red hair and eyes, seeing as red was the color of evil in Ancient Egypt. He sometimes takes the form of a crocodile. He was said that in his battles with Horus, he took the form of a hippopotamus or a black pig.
Family: Son of Ra, sibling of Osiris, Isis, and Nethphys, twin and husband of Nethphys.
